The Animal Production division is part of LUKROM, spol. s r.o. Together with the division of Compound Feed Production they form so-called Animal Vertical, which is focused exclusively on animal production.

Poultry breeding

The Broiler raising is the main program of the division. The division also cooperates with other suppliers and breeders, especially in the form of securing the supply of one-day-old chicks to their farms and purchases of fattened poultry.

Pig breeding

C. 900 heads make the basic herd of sows. Genetics of the farms are mostly made by the breed France Hybrides , which is characterized by higher fertility among mothers and the high proportion of meat.

Currently, the division focuses on the pigs fattening. Weaned piglets are purchased from suppliers. The most important include PROAGRO Nymburk SpA, AGROVIT, a.s. Svatobořice-Mistřín. Major customers are Makovec SpA, Limuzin Ltd. Prerov slaughterhouse M.H. Ltd., Drumas Hluk.

Cattle breeding

The main program of the company is milk production. The total number of cows with market milk production is around 1 800 heads.
